Nominated Charity
In 2008-2009 all money raised throught BTSS events will be spilt evenly between two chosen local charities:
- Acorn's Children's Hospital, and
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

The chosen charities for 2007-2008 were Acorn's Children's Hospital and West Midlands Lupus Group. The total amount raised and split between these two charities was £5,315.00!
The chosen charity for 2006-2007 was the Birmingham Children's Hospital. The hospital treats over 300,000 children each year, in over 50 departments, with a number of specialist areas.
BTSS members raised over £3,300 for Ward 7, and the hospital hope to buy a couple of multi-functional monitors for the ward which prevent the need for some children to be attached to several units - making life a little easier for all involved!
