The BTSS is an organisation made up of over 500 trainee solicitors, paralegals, newly qualified solicitors and law students throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Originally an off-shoot of the Birmingham Law Society, the BTSS has been operating for 172 years and remains as active as ever with monthly social, sporting and charitable events. We aim to have a positive impact on the community while bringing young lawyers together and raising their profile in a range of environments.

We assist our members in forming links with other professionals through our relationships with the Birmingham Law Society, the Junior Lawyers Division, Birmingham Future, Birmingham Forward and our nominated charities, Mencap and the JDRF.
